Watch: Serbian midfielder produces hilarious Panenka attempt

Taking a Panenka penalty is one of the boldest moves in football.

Get it right and the sight of a penalty gently looping into the back of the net while the goalkeeper dives out of the way is one of the coolest sights in the game. Think Andrea Pirlo against Joe Hart at Euro 2012.

But get it wrong and there are few more embarrassing sights as a player wastes a golden chance to score. Think Peter Crouch clearing the bar for England against Jamaica.

In Serbia this weekend, Milos Adamovic learned this the hard way.

The Radnik Surdulica midfielder confidently stepped up after the Serbian SuperLiga outfit were awarded a penalty and decided to back himself to pull out a Panenka.

Sadly, Adamovic fluffed the attempt completely, failing to hit the target from 12 yards.

To make matters worse Radnik lost 2-1 to Napredak Krusevac. Adamovic probably won’t be trusted with the next penalty.
