Mohamed Salah left the pitch in tears after suffering an injury following a challenge by Sergio Ramos in Liverpool‘s Champions League final clash with Real Madrid.
After winning the Premier League’s Golden Boot and PFA Player of the Year, Salah was the main focus of Liverpool’s hopes for upsetting Real Madrid – so much so Jamie Carragher was even filmed joining supporters in singing the forward’s name in Kiev.
But the Egypt international injured his shoulder in after bearing the brunt of Ramos’ bodyweight as the two fell to the floor.
Salah initially attempted to continue playing, but minutes later fell to the floor once again as it became apparent he would not be able to continue.
The forward was the visibly upset as he had to be replaced by Adam Lallana midway through the first half.

If Lewy leaves Bayern, someone’s in for a treat.
North Korea’s genius ploy unfortunately backfired.

Of course he meant it. He meant everything.
Only eight have lasted longer than five years.
We’re getting a bit bored of this now…
Xherdan Shaqiri always tries elasticos. He’s fun.
Roy Keane was on very good form.
