Watch: Tyson Fury calls out Man Utd players on Twitter after derby defeat

Manchester United‘s performance during their 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday left their supporters feeling angry and frustrated – and Tyson Fury was no exception.

Fury attended the game at Old Trafford and saw United outclassed by their city neighbours. The defeat leaves United six points behind City and increases the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And the boxer was so incensed by the display that he took to social media to call out the United players after the game.

“After today’s defeat from City with Manchester United, it is fair to say that United are taking a worse beating than Deontay Wilder took in all his fights versus me,” he said.

“We are absolutely getting smashed out there. I think partly it is because the players – with no disrespect to any of you – it doesn’t seem like you are digging deep to try and win these games.”

He went on to say: “I think me and Patrice Evra will come down to training and give you the hard word of what you need.”

Whether Fury will make an appearance at Carrington remains to be seen.
