Watch: Werner scores first Chelsea goal after incredible pass from Ziyech

Timo Werner has hit the ground running at Chelsea, scoring after just four minutes on his unofficial debut for the club.

After impressing at RB Leipzig, Werner completed a £47.5million move to Stamford Bridge in the summer and started their pre-season friendly against Brighton.

Fellow new signing Hakim Ziyech picked up the ball on the right wing and floated an amazing cross into the the path of Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The 19-year-old miscued his header but the ball still fell into Werner’s path, who was on hand to tap the ball home from six yards.

Willy Caballero saved a penalty from Neap Maupay in the 48th minute before Pascal Gross scored an equaliser from the spot in injury time.
