Watch: ‘You deserve that!’ – Man Utd players react to Sancho’s first goal

Jadon Sancho scored his first Manchester United goal to seal their 2-0 victory against Villarreal – and it’s safe to say that his team-mates were delighted for him.
Sancho has made a stuttering start to his United career since a £75million move from Borussia Dortmund but was given a rare start by caretaker manager Michael Carrick.
Playing in his customary right-wing position, the England international put in an improved performance and sealed United’s victory with a thunderous strike into the roof of the Villarreal net before celebrating in the corner of the pitch.
Sancho’s team-mates were equally pleased. Captain Harry Maguire is the first to speak with a simple: “Well done!”
Scott McTominay then shouts: “Get the f*ck in!” as Maguire adds: “You deserve that!”.
While they were clearly delighted, the clip also shows Bruno Fernandes portraying a slightly different reaction. The Portugal international didn’t look in the mood for celebrations after a difficult week.
United’s victory ensured their passage into the Champions League knockout rounds for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
